From the mid-to-late 90s through the mid-00s, I spent hours with rub-on letters, scissors, and glue sticks, received daily deliveries of heaps of envelopes and packages, and went to zine conventions both in and out of my home state. Whether personal, political, musical, or artistic, I, like this book, loved zines and the community around them. This well-researched tome, full of photographs and facts about the origins and current state of fanzines, is an excellent resource for both veterans of, or participants in, the world of fanzines, as well as a great introduction to what the 'cut 'n' paste revolution' is all about. -Meggy, Fashion Writer
