Precious Movements Top

I was pretty apprehensive to buy this shirt the day it came out, having no reviews and everything, but the idea of making a Peter Pan collar seem romantic and feminine was so appealing, I couldn't resist! I usually wear a L in Modcloth items, sometimes an XL, but because there was no XL option, my mind was made up for me. I was nervous considering how slim the shirt looks in the picture, I thought it wouldn't fit. When it got here, however, I was exceptionally pleased. The fit is loose enough to hide every little bulge, but does not look oversized, making the shirt very comfortable while still looking classy. The fit is a little short, stopping just above wear my pants would stop, so I would wish it just a tad longer, but it's not that big if a problem. The only thing I found that could be problematic was that the lace panels going across the shirt are sewn on in only one place, so the bottom of them are able to come up. This is not a problem while being worn, only, I fear, while being washed. It seems very delicate, especially with the frayed edges. When it comes down to it, though, I love this shirt. The lace paired with the Peter Pan collar makes for a cute, but girly and grown-up look. I've worn it with both skinny slacks and flats, as well as a black high-waisted skirt and heels. It is able to be dressed up or down and looks fabulous every time! #freshphoto

meh. other reviewers were right: feels cheap and chintzy. i tried it anyway b/c it looked like something i've been searching for. this ain't it, though. it's going back.

the color is very pretty and the material is good, its very see through.
