Only As Bold As You Feel Top

This top is beautiful but the way the sleeves poof out just above the elbow is not flattering at all. I am very petite only 5'1" so this gave me wings. Had to return it. If you are tall or proportioned larger then highly recommend it.

Beautiful color. I purchased this to wear to work but the sleeves are really voluminous. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the sleeves make a huge statement. I'll be keeping this to throw together some fun weekend outfits, but sadly for my ultra-conservative office it's a tad too much.

Pros: The colour, style, and material is *Gorgeous*. The The photos do not do this blouse justice. Cons: The blouse is very short. Also, it is unflattering around the waist area, so it is best worn with a belt or under a jacket or blazer of some sort. Tucking it in might be an option if you were closer to 5 feet in height, but I'm 5' 7" and this top comes above my belly button- so there's no tucking this in for me. The problem with using a belt, is it would end up making the top even shorter and it's too short as it is. The upper section of the sleeves and across the chest fits quite small; I am small chested and this part of the top is too tight on me, so girls with a larger chest may want to size up, but then that would mean the rest of the top around the waist and hips would get even bigger and that area of the top fits quite big- my hips are 13" larger than my waist and the blouse is huge around the hips, so there's lots of room for hippie girls. What would I change if I could: For the blouse to be be a few inches longer, have more shape around the waist area, and more room in the upper arm so it didn't pull across the chest area. Decision: I am going to keep this blouse, but I'm I'm going to have to play with it to see how I can make it work for me. I may need to wear a bra that keeps the chest a little pressed. I'll figure out a way to make it work. It really is a very pretty blouse and the colour is just so fantastic.
