As I sit at my desk, touching this warm grey tank, admiring its collar of ruffles cascading over the noir band at its empire waist before returning to the keyboard before me, I can't resist the accompanying vision stubbornly planting in my mind. On the top floor of the hundred year-old building in which I live, in San Francisco's burrito- and hipster-rich Mission District, I can just see the top of Mount Sutro and the iconic, three-pronged Sutro Tower out of my westward-facing living room window. Just about every night, as the sun departs from the sky in a procession of pinks and purples, I watch as an impressive bank of charcoal-colored fog builds in the distance - growing bigger and bigger, darker and darker until finally it tumbles down the hillside, steamrolling toward downtown just as darkness closes around the rest of the city. I just can't seem to shake how this gorgeous V-neck tank echos that natural wonder to a fantastically fashionable effect. The next time I go on a vacation, I think I'll bring this dazzling cotton-blend top along and slip into it for a night out, tying the sash tightly behind my back as the bottom softly billows around my waist before adding a short sleeve cardigan, a cotton skirt, and woven wedges, so I can keep a little piece of home close to my heart while I'm away. -Molly, Fashion Writer
