I do like this shirt a lot. I practically wear it with anything. It's easily a layer piece and a stand alone piece. The only small issue I have with it is I don't know if it's the placement of the buttons or my chest is too big but it does that gape hole thing in between the buttons, like if the shirt fits too small and is being pulled. The only thing is that if I would have gone the next size up, the shirt would have fit me big. Other than that, I really do love it. And just for reference, I'm 5'3 and a half, 144lbs, and a 34B. For my picture I paired it up with the "House Swap Skirt in Burgundy" and the "Betsey Johnson Hits the Dot Tights."

Well, it’s not exactly gold—more of a chalky yellow, which isn’t as becoming against skin as weirdly devoid of melanin as mine is, but definitely isn’t unbearable. The construction of this blouse is charming, from the flow-y bell-shaped sleeves to the bow, which is just this side of overdramatic and thus delightful for anyone whose fashion sensibilities are a bit quirky. I might be the odd man out and hopelessly unfashionable for it, but I love the airy weight and texture of the polyester this top is made of. I don’t love the semi-sheer weave, however, and I’d recommend a tank top or camisole underneath. Overall, a dependably cute addition for anyone’s blouse collection. Don’t forget to iron, though; the material wrinkles very easily.

The quality is good, the colour is fabulous, the style I adore, the fabric...... is yuck. I bought this beautiful gold top and it's blue version when they were incorrectly listed as being 100% Rayon, while they are really 100% Polyester. In muggy Sydney, Polyester (especially in shirts) = a slow, sticky, wet pit-patch death. Modcloth were as awesome as always and offered to organise a return for me. It being winter at the time, I however decided to risk the sweat and keep these shirts and I do really love them. They are soft and breezy and look cute and get compliments from even crusty uninterested colleagues. Sadly now that it is Spring moving into Summer I have had to pack these away till the humidity drops. Pity because the floaty sleeves would have been lovely on a warm day. (I vote for less Polyester and more Cottons and Rayons!).
