Black Tape for a Blue Top

If you've picked up anything from my past Seen Style posts on the ModLife Blog, or from my blogger profile there, then you may know that the blue-with-black color combination is a true favorite of mine and that I love western shirts, especially ones that have been crisply tailored to fit me perfectly. Indeed, these all are reasons why I am intensely drawn to this top. It's composed of a soft, sheer, baby blue, cotton-silk material cut to a shaped fit with princess seems, black jewel buttons that fasten by loop hole enclosures, and a black ribbon tape applique that embellishes the front in a showy, swirled design reminiscent of rodeo fashions. The Mao collar and capped sleeves with elasticated ruffling at the hems serve to make this shirt fittingly feminine for the gaucho girl in you.
