Wisdom by Winston Tote

I was SO excited when my boyfriend gave this to me as a no-reason-present. I have a dog who is just as fat and adorable as this one, and I happen to wear the exact same pair of glasses as the illustration, which I have been known to put on her when she looks very serious for picture taking fun. So the illustration is perfect!! And too cute. To my dismay, the seam on this bag tore on the first use! I wasn't even carrying anything heavy... just my wallet, cosmetic bag, crossword puzzle, light/compact umbrella (in its case) and a closed pen. Fortunately nothing fell out! I love the bag and the sentiment behind it, so I've asked a friend who sews well to mend the hole. She saw the existing stitches and said that the seam was not stitched to last, and said she was going to double the stitches all around for me. What a nice friend, right? Looking at all the other reviews about the quality, it seems like a smarter thing to do than ask for an exchange which may well likely tear also.

I have a pug. Naturally I had to buy this. Please have more pug things. I will buy them, I promise.

Just as cute in person as it is on the site! Bigger than I expected too.The only issue is that the handles are awkwardly long and it bumps a bit on stairs.
