At a young age, even before my appreciation for unique fashion began to blossom, my mother handed me a folded scarf that flowered nearly identically to the bouquets upon this cotton pillow sham. I shook the soft cloth loose to expand its beautiful print, which with apparent years of hearty wear, had reds that ran into a petal-peach hue similar to this ruffle-trimmed piece, which is also available as a quilt. What I held, I learned, was the favorite babushka of my great-great-grandmother, and in no time I assumed the accessory onto my own head, knotting its frayed ends under my chin. What began as a headscarf worn as a youngster in grocery cart rides transformed through the years into a neck decoration, a purse adornment, an accent tied atop a long skirt, and it now garnishes a nook of my loft. Sitting beneath that special scarf of mine, I can only imagine this buttoned-back pillowcase would complement my hand-sewn quilt and smooth chocolate bed skirt quite stunningly! - Christen, Fashion Writer
