Yes, as Heather said, it's not big enough to use it as a school bag but it has plenty of room for a bottle of water, a wallet, keys, make up, a cellphone, sunglasses and a small book. I think the size is perfect and it looks so cute and retro... I ordered it because it reminded me the first school bag I had, when I was 6 years old. It's vegan but the material looks like real but tough leather, it's great. The tawny colour is just like in the picture and the lock is very beutiful and very easy to close. My only complaint is that the zip lock of the inner pocket was missing, so I can't open and close that pocket easily, I'll leave it open, it's not a problem. I'm very happy with it :)

GREAT bag! I feel like I'm going on some sort of jungle adventure with it! I bought it for the purpose of bring it with me to study abroad in the fall (I wanted to look fashionable but also have a bag that is versitile). I used it for a week with various outfits and it went well with all of them! Another feature that I like it that it also zips in addition to the flap and unique lock in the front. I've never purchased a bag from modcloth but I am really glad that I bought this one. The quality is great so I do think that it is worth the price (I acutally feel like it's priced cheaper than most of the bags on Modcloth). I can't wait to carry this bag all over Europe!!!

This bag looks great, but the sturdiness and quality aren't quite up to par. One of the clasps for the over the shoulder strap bent out of shape on my first day using it. It still works fine, just comes undone easily. I worry that the inside zippers will wear out and break quickly as well. The color matches the picture, and I was able to squeeze in my book, wallet, water bottle, phone, keys and sunglasses while still managing to shut the bag all the way. While not as well made as the price should warrant, this bag is still cute enough for me to keep, it even garnered me a random-stranger compliment.
